RL Wager · Terms of Service

This page explains the rules, risks, and conditions for using RL Wager. If you use the site, you are agreeing to everything here.

Agreement & Scope

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of RL Wager — including our website, wallet binding, internal WT balances, and skill-based wagering matches for games like Connect 4, Battleship, Rock Paper Scissors, and any other supported titles. By accessing or using RL Wager, you accept these Terms and our Privacy Policy.

Eligibility & Accounts

  • You must be at least 16 years old and legally allowed to use skill-based wagering where you live.
  • One account per person, IP, and wallet. Multi-accounting, VPN abuse, or identity spoofing is not allowed.
  • You are responsible for securing your wallet, device, and any credentials used with RL Wager. If someone else uses your wallet, the system treats it as you.

Balances — USDC ↔ WT

  • WT (Wager Tokens) are internal accounting units used only inside RL Wager. By default: 1 USDC = 10 WT.
  • Deposits convert USDC → WT; withdrawals convert WT → USDC and send USDC back to your connected Solana wallet (Solflare, etc.).
  • All balance changes are recorded and mapped to your wallet address and internal user account for security and audit purposes.

Matches, Escrow & Settlement

  • When you join or create a match, your WT stake is locked in escrow until that match ends or is canceled.
  • For in-platform arcade games (e.g. Connect 4, Battleship, Rock Paper Scissors), results are determined by the game logic and recorded automatically.
  • RL Wager applies a house fee (typically around 10%) on the total pot; the remainder is paid out to the winner(s) according to the match format.
  • In the event of a clear technical failure on RL Wager's side, we may void or refund a match at our sole discretion.
  • Older or special formats that use human referees (e.g. Rocket League ref matches) follow additional rules in the Rocket League Referee Matches section.

Rules & Player Conduct

  • No cheating, scripting, exploiting bugs, collusion, or deliberate match-fixing in any game mode.
  • No harassment, hate speech, threats, spam, or abusive behavior toward players, refs, or staff.
  • You may not stall games on purpose, manipulate results, or coordinate false result submissions.
  • RL Wager may issue warnings, temporary suspensions, permanent bans, fund holds, or reversals for violations, at our reasonable discretion.

Fees, Refunds & Chargebacks

  • Platform fees, rake, and Solana network fees (gas) may apply to deposits, withdrawals, and match settlements.
  • Deposits are generally final. We do not guarantee refunds for user error, bad beats, or losing matches.
  • Chargebacks, payment disputes, or fraudulent transactions with processors/banks may result in permanent suspension and confiscation of WT balances.

Data & Privacy

We collect only the data needed to operate RL Wager securely — including wallet info, basic logs, and gameplay outcomes. We do not sell your personal data. For full details, read the Privacy Policy.

Rocket League Referee Matches

Some RL Wager formats support Rocket League matches with human referees (Refs). These rules apply only to those ref-based lobbies:

  • Matches are played in private lobbies with an assigned ref who spectates and confirms the result.
  • Refs cannot place wagers in matches they officiate and cannot play in those same lobbies.
  • Bribing, pressuring, or trying to influence a ref's decision can lead to permanent suspension.
  • In disputes, the ref's decision is usually final, but RL Wager may review and adjust outcomes if there is clear abuse or obvious error.

RL Wager may change or phase out ref-based Rocket League modes over time. Any changes will still honor active matches and existing balances.

Disclaimers & Liability

RL Wager is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not guarantee uninterrupted access, error-free operation, or any particular financial outcome.

To the maximum extent allowed by law, RL Wager is not liable for lost profits, data loss, or indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the platform, including wallet integrations and any third-party services.

All wagering carries risk. Only play with funds you can afford to lose. RL Wager is intended for entertainment and skill-based competition.

Governing Law

These Terms are governed by applicable U.S. federal law and the laws of the relevant state or jurisdiction in which RL Wager operates. If any provision of these Terms is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue in full force and effect.

For help, disputes, or appeals, email rlwagerref@gmail.com or use the contact page. Include your username, wallet address, match ID, and a short description of the issue so we can review it quickly.

TL;DR (Not a legal replacement)
  • This is real money wagering. Losses are on you.
  • WT are just internal units tied to USDC on Solana.
  • We can suspend or ban for cheating, fraud, or abuse.
  • Chargebacks and payment fraud will get you nuked.
  • If you do not accept these rules, do not use RL Wager.
When you should not use RL Wager
  • You are under the legal age in your country/region.
  • You rely on this money for rent, food, or essentials.
  • You have a history of problem gambling or addiction.
  • You do not understand how crypto wallets and USDC work.

  • Match ID(s) involved;
  • Short description, plus screenshots if relevant.
